CLEVELAND CLINIC'S DR. G. WILLY DAVILA PERJURES HIMSELF AGAIN IN BOSTON SCIENTIFIC TRIAL IN MIAMI!

Guess liars just don't know where to stop. Sworn testimony or not. Especially Dr. G. Willy Davila when it comes to protecting his favorite thing in life, surgical mesh. He has personally taken on a campaign to implant mesh in as many women around the world as possible.

He's very proud of his protection of synthetic surgical mesh. Does he care if it mutilates women internally? NO. Does he care if those women will never have sex again, never work, never be able to sit or walk or do anything normal? NO. NO. NO.

What G. Willy Davila wants is to be considered important for his surgical skills. Davila wants to be well liked, admired and appreciated by other doctors. As to the women, damn them all. I guess he must be a misogynist. How else would he be able to be so callous about all the lives he has destroyed as the Johnny Appleseed of mesh around the world?

In America we call it PERJURY. It is a CRIME.

So last Friday afternoon, I am sitting in court in downtown Miami at a trial for 4 women in the West Virginia Boston Scientific MDL02326, Judge Joseph Goodwin presiding. Very impressive to see all the attorneys and how the process unfolds.

Except for Davila. Despite being a PAID preceptor for Johnson & Johnson/Ethicon since at least 2001 (over $100,000.00) and a consultant/preceptor for American Medical Systems, there he is in a video deposition...UNDER OATH...saying he has not used mesh for prolapse repair since 2000, 2001. LIE! LIE! LIE!

He was the first doctor EVER to implant the American Medical Systems Apogee transvaginal mesh in the U.S. in 2004. All kinds of press releases, etc, etc, etc how Davila has worked for them over the last 10 years.

DAVILA...stop being a one man wrecking ball for women's lives. Stop the lying. Stop the harm.

You ruined my life, continually cutting and cuttting and cutting into my bladder, telling the jury in the med mal lawsuit against Dr. Cantor, "Oh we will manage the erosion of the mesh into Lana Keeton's bladder conservatively. She will be fine." Of course the jury believed him. He is a doctor at Cleveland Clinic.

As to me, no conservative management got the mesh out of my bladder. Three (3) major abdominal surgeries since 2009 and I am totally mutilated because Davila did not remove it years ago which would have had a much better outcome for me.

NO, for 7 years, 2002 to 2009, ..."let's just do those conservative in-office trimmings". Let me just cut you and cut you and cut you. More money for me, for Cleveland Clinic and I don't have to report the adverse events of the defective Gynecare TVT bladder sling.

Last Friday he did the same thing to Margarita Dotres in court in downtown Miami in the Boston Scientific MDL02326. "Oh I expect a really good outcome for Ms. Dotres when I do surgery on her in December." How does he know that? HE DOES NOT KNOW THAT. He is a paid industry hack for the mesh companies and he is trying to reduce the award the jury should give her.

LIE, LIE, LIE! Boy, did you see how long Dr. Davila's nose has grown? He's not going to be able to get in his car if it grows any longer.

KENNETH KEETON, MY DADDY, MY HERO! AND HIS YOUNGER BROTHER, HORACE KEETON!

Two great guys fought in World War II in the Phillipines. One came home. The other did not. Never met Uncle Horace. Always saw his picture on the wall next to the light switch by the door at Ma Keeton's house. Handsome guy. That's all I really know about him, except that he is buried a few feet from my Daddy, next to his Mom and Dad.

That's what war does. Takes away lives at such young ages, children and grand children never know them.

My Daddy, Kenneth, and My Uncle, Horace, were honorable men who fought for, died for and protected this country. Daddy came home but the war was always with him. I know that now but never understood it when I was growing up.

Every Sunday I watch Joel on TV as he preaches from Lakewood Church in Houston, TX. What a powerful wonderful message he always has...always uplifting my spirit. Every single time, I feel so good from hearing him. He definitely has God's anointing.

I want to share his and Victoria's message today because it really spoke to me relating to myself and the thousands of mesh injured patients worldwide. So many are so bitter and so angry and so disenfranchised. Many patients are mean to other mesh injured patients.

I call today for "A DIFFERENT SPIRIT" among us. Stop the insanity of attacking each other online. There is ZERO reason to be mean to each other. Please be civilized and kind to those who suffer physically every single day. A word of kindness goes a long way towards a better day. Unkind words leave stains on people's hearts and souls.

Dr. G. Willy Davila, the Johnny Appleseed of Synthetic Surgical Mesh, has traveled the world over spreading the horror of mesh to women worldwide. His name is to be reviled. There is a special place in hell for humans(actually inhumans) like him.

A couple of weeks ago, I discovered he was paid $75,000.00 (2 separate contracts) as a preceptor (training other surgeons to mutilate women with mesh) by Ethicon, Inc /Johnson & Johnson...before I ever had mesh implanted in me in 2001 and before I ever went to see him the first time in 2002.

I emphatically trusted him with my own medical treatments for 7 years. The entire time he lied to me. I am devastated to know how he used me as a guinea pig for all those years, repeated surgeries and repeated in-office trimmings INSIDE MY BLADDER! Let's manage your "erosion" conservatively (now called "exposure" as if a new name would make the pain and agony of mesh any less) he would say.

"Other surgeons are not as skilled as me is the reason there are complications with mesh" he would say. I believed him! I just want to vomit thinking about it.

And then he spied on the work of Truth in Medicine, all the while reporting back to the mesh companies. You talk about despicable, he's despicable. Spread the word about this disgusting man to everyone you know. He still travels the world "training" other surgeons to mutilate women with mesh.

D.C. CIRCUIT COURT REVERSES FDA REVOCATION OF REGEN MESH KNEE IMPLANT

While the FDA has been very slow in tackling the major issue of Transvaginal Mesh for pelvic organ prolapse and bladder suspension, I am very pleased they are doing it by the book!! Otherwise, the efforts of thousands and thousands of injured patients might be reversed on appeal as the REGEN MESH KNEE IMPLANT has by the D.C. Circuit Court. See below...

DC Circuit Knocks FDA’s Backtrack On Knee Implant Approval

Circuit ruled Friday that the U.S. Food & Drug Administration didn’t follow the proper procedure to revoke marketing clearance for a knee implant more than two years after it had initially granted it, finding the agency’s inherent authority cannot trump Congress’s rules for reclassifying medical devices.

In a split 2-1 ruling, the appeals panel reversed a lower court decision granting summary judgment in favor of the FDA, finding the agency acted improperly in reversing its prior approval of the Collagen Scaffold, a surgical mesh knee implant."

As for myself, although I highly disagree with the FDA's 510(k) PreMarket Notification Clearance process, have always sought to get mesh off the market through the existing FDA regulatory authority. Better to use the road most traveled than to try to build new roads.

FDA ObGyn Advisory Panel Meeting on Synthetic Surgical Mesh implanted in the pelvis of women. Transvaginal mesh it is now called...no matter where placed, no matter the brand. All lumped into one...

Guess that's okay in a sense because ALL of them cause immeasurable harm.

When will the FDA take action to stop the harm to millions of mesh injured patients, MEN AND WOMEN ALIKE?

The medical device companies have a seemingly unending amount of time to continue the harm while Patients NEVER get a second chance. Once the mesh is in, it is permanent.

So while the mesh makers get a do over, Patients become permanently disabled pelvic cripples.

The FDA mandates 522 studies to 33 companies for 99 mesh products January 2012.

The FDA puts forth the possiblity of upclassifying mesh kits manufactured for pelvic organ prolapse May 2014. Comments are accepted through July 2014.

September 8, 2014...patients are still harmed every single day while mesh companies still getting a do over.

What really needs a do over is the FDA's 510(k) Premarket Notification clearance process which allowed these products ever to be sold in the first place.

Our fellow men and women working in medical device companies are not protecting the men and women they profess to heal and cure.

The FDA seems powerless.

The attorneys are doing their best to raise the alarm and help in the way they are trained.

The courts are only able to take action based on our laws.

Doctors are picking up scalpels and implanting synthetic surgicl mesh in hundreds of thousands of humans around the world every single day. Why? To prevent recurrence of hernia, make women dry or make sure they are anatomically correct.

I do not know one single person who went to a doctor or surgeon and told them they wanted to be anatomically correct.

I do not know one woman or man (yes they implant bladder slings in men now) who went to a doctor or surgeon and told them, please make me dry even if I become a pelvic cripple, am disabled, will never be able to have sex again, will lose my job, my income and my home.

I do not know one single person with a hernia who ever went to a doctor or surgeon and said, it is very important never to have a hernia recurrence even if it makes me sterile, I lose one or both of my testicles or live in chronic pain.

Nope. Never met a single one.

Please pray doctors become empowered to protect the men and women they intend to heal.

Please pray these procedures are no longer touted as the "gold standard".

Please pray for common sense like in the old days when doctors and surgeons worked to prevent foreign bodies in humans, not to put them in.

JO & ALLEN HUSKEY WIN $3.27 MILLION! DEFEAT THE ETHICON, J&J GIANT!

“Huskey v. Ethicon Inc.”… $3.27 million verdict for Plaintiff’s Jo and Allen Huskey!

The verdict is substantial for the Huskeys, and fair, even to Ethicon. Ethicon will not be getting the award reduced on appeal because it is a fair amount.

What is not fair is that Jo and Allen Huskey will live the rest of their lives together (hopefully) but will never be able to be intimate again. Disgraceful that a company profits from stealing this couple’s intimacy, a God given joy.

And that Jo Huskey will no longer be able to participate in her own life as the productive member of society she once was. Mesh is a horrific life sentence that no one who does not have mesh implanted will ever be able to understand. The pain is excruciating and unrelenting. No human should ever have to suffer like Jo Huskey is suffering.

This is a real win for other cases pending in In RE: Ethicon, Inc., Pelvic Repair System Products Liability Litigation MDL No. 02327.

A win on Design Defect, Failure to Warn and Negligence affects and helps TVT-O cases everywhere. It will stand as a precedent and also positively impact a lot Ethicon plaintiffs. (The facts of the individual case and the venue where the suit is filed always has to be taken into consideration before the facts of the Huskey case apply.)
I commend Ed Wallace, Wexler Wallace, Chicago, IL and Fidelma Fitzpatrick, Motley Rice, RI for their prosecution of the case and all those who assisted the trial team.
The Linda Gross win was good but they did not prove design defect. Great that Ms. Gross won but her win was not transferable to other cases. The facts of this win translate to other cases! Praise God!

I’d love to tell you that your family, friends and co-workers will celebrate you, but that’s not necessarily the case. Some people simply can’t handle your success. As you grow and increase, as God pours out His favor on you, someone will get jealous. Someone will start finding fault. Don’t be surprised if a relative tries to belittle or discredit you. You can’t focus on making everyone around you happy or you’ll start changing and lose sight of what God has placed in your heart.

NEVER did Dr. Davila tell me in those 7 years of "managing" the mesh that kept perforating my bladder that he was (and is) a PAID consultant to American Medical Systems. He did not mention his paid position with American Medical Systems when he was deposed or when he testified in the medical malpractice trial against Dr. Cantor. Or when he was interviewed by Channel 7 WSVN in Miami.

Cleveland Clinic Weston pays Dr. Davila a salary and APPROVES of him being a paid consultant to American Medical Systems. Of course, there is no mention at the AUGS, the IUGA, in the local paper in Miami, online in his many publications or anywhere else for that matter, THAT DR. DAVILA IS BEING SUED BY MANY OF THE FEMALE PATIENTS HE OPERATED ON AND IMPLANTED MESH IN. DR. DAVILA, THE EXPERT SURGEON, HARMS THE PATIENTS HE IMPLANTS MESH IN.

So which is it? Is the problem the surgical skills or the Synthetic Surgical Mesh itself? If the "expert", Dr. Davila, can not successfully implant mesh, what’s the problem? OF COURSE, IT'S THE MESH!

But universally doctors are so concerned about their legal liability for implanting defective devices, they circle the wagons and lie.

Let’s think about this. Dr. Davila is a paid medical consultant/advisor to American Medical Systems for the “Elevate System” and other synthetic mesh kits implanted in the pelvis of females who works at Cleveland Clinic who is considered to be an expert urogynecologist who committed fraud by omission in the state of Florida in trial testimony.

How does any woman protect herself while under anesthesia from a doctor who lies under oath? The answer: She absolutely CAN NOT.

65,000 cases filed in the MDL's in West Virginia. Thousands more filed in state courts across the U.S., in New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Scotland and the U.K. So what does the national or international press have to say about this? NOTHING! No conversation about the travesty of a health system which pays doctors to harm women with horribly unsafe medical devices...polypropylene (and other polymers) used to make vaginal implants for incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. Except for a few little known websites, blogs and facebook pages, there is nothing, absolutely nothing. If there is news, it talks about THE LOSSES OF THE COMPANIES.
